Taking your measurements
Take your bust and waist measurements by lightly wrapping a measuring tape around your chest and around your waist. Then tighten the measuring tape a few inches smaller, as tight as you might comfortably lace a corset.
Your corset measurements should be smaller than your typical measurements,
as corsets are made to fit snug.
The first number in a corset size is the corset laced fully closed as tight as it can go, and the second is the corset laced as loose as it can go before the next size bracket.
